We are a small village school with a strong belief in our school as a family where everyone can thrive and succeed.  The children at Chirton School are taught in three classes in the mornings and two classes in the afternoons, both housed in our spacious grounds. In the afternoons both groups work together. We are fortunate to have small class sizes which enables each child to be treated as an individual.  Their needs are catered for by a differentiated, creative curriculum.  We aim to raise children's confidence and self esteem, leading to each building a love of learning and achievement. 

The school is on a split site.  The Victorian building provides a small hall and a kitchen and technology room.  The grounds surrounding the classrooms contain a netball court, football pitch, adventure playground and fenced quiet sunken garden to provide us with a variety of learning experiences and extensive play opportunities for the children.
